Funding
Funding begins with members. Although members dollars are beneficial, the number of members is as important to show that the project has public support for more funding. We will simply not be able to raise the money required without members. The scope of the work to be performed has not clearly been defined and therefore not quantifiable. We have a high level "idea" of the work needing done, but no details, therefore the dollar amount that will be required is mostly theoretical at this point. We have used some high level indicators of cost to provide a Rough Order of Magnitude of the project cost which is in the $3 million to $5 million range. We will need funding from three basic sources to build what is required. Below is an example of how it is possible to raise the funds required to build the segment.
